What to ask before you book for a group
- Beds, not just a number. "Sleeps 10" can include sofa beds. Check the bedroom count and the bed types.
- Bathrooms. Eight people with one bathroom is a queue.
- The hot tub. Most seat six to eight. A group of twelve will take turns.
- Noise and neighbours. Some owners set quiet hours or turn down stag and hen parties, so say what the trip is for.
- Parking. Four or five cars is common for a big group.
Planning a big weekend
A group stay works best with a few fixed points: a table booked at a local pub, a walk everyone can do (the forest tracks at Newborough or the sands of Red Wharf Bay are flat and easy) and a shop on the way in so you are not hunting for milk at 9pm. Large group cottages: quick answers
Does the hot tub fit everyone?
Probably not at once. Most hot tubs seat six to eight, so a group of ten or more will take turns. Check the seating on the cottage page.
