A beautiful property it was very comfortable and spacious. We had a lovely stay with all the family together. The owners left us welcome gifts and even for the dog!

It was our third year at Rhos Helyg for a Christmas family break. The house is always warm and welcoming with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and cake waiting. We had a lovely weekend and although had plenty of rain it didn't spoil our time there. We even managed to spend time in the hot tub. Plenty of space for all of us 9 in total and two dogs. The house is spotless and very cosy and comfortable. We look forward to our next visit.

Absolutely perfect place for our family get together. Comfortable, clean, well equipped and great location with lovely views across the fields to a lake. Safe gardens for kids and dogs, the hot tub was a wonderful bonus. We did struggle with the outside bin being full from previous visitors. We have had a wonderful weekend and will definitely highly recommend. We will be back next year for a longer stay to explore the area further.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Owners were very helpful, online app was extremely useful and informative. The only reason I havent given 5 stars is because compared to others we have stayed in in Anglesey this house isnt as modern. However it has everything you could need and was very well situated and would definitely recommend.

1017th October 2025 We had a really nice week at Rhos Helyg . The property was just as described . We hade everything we needed and it was a real home from home. The property was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfy and the views from the bedroom and living room were amazing. The weather was good and we enjoyed the Hot Tub most evenings . Michelle was a great host . She was friendly and she dealt with any queries promptly and she was very accommodating. Our dog loved the big garden , which was safe and secure .We hope to return in the future and would highly recommend this property to family and friends . Nev, Mandy and Sasha .

The accommodation itself was just beautiful with lovely views. I didn't get to meet the hosts but spoke to Michelle on the telephone who was extremely accommodating. The location of the property is perfect for anybody who just wants to have a relaxing weekend as there aren't very many places of interest to visit, unless you are prepared to travel. As we had nine family members with a mixture of ages, there wasn't quite enough for the younger and more agile amongst us to do, unless you like to walk. On the whole , we all thoroughly enjoyed our break away together as a family. Just a couple of small maintenance issues that could be addressed the bathroom situated through the utility really could do with a be aware of the step sign as it is not visible the step is there as you open the door but unless you are looking down you can't see it as the step blends in with the rest of the flooring. The other thing, which again there's nothing major the knob on the bath to release the water is broken.

Had a great stay lovely family time. All good if there was any down side it would be a comment about garden furniture not well set up to eat outside. Bench table set up not most comfortable. But we loved the location as central to a number of beaches.

We needed room for 8 people 5 adults 3 kids & a dog across 3 families & parking for 3 vehicles. Rhos Helig fitted the bill perfectly. Spacious & comfortable & open plan living area with dining tablechairs big enough to accommodate us all amazing how many other properties can't provide this!!. Lovely views, good size garden, hot tub, short drive to nearest beach but easy access to everywhere Michelle and Alun were really helpful & friendly and provided a mobile no in case we needed them. Thank you to both. Excellent service. Would definitely revisit

Rhos Helyg is a wonderful cottage, surrounded by fields and inquisitive cows. The house itself is beautifully styled, much bigger than it looks and immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bath towels were huge not like some tiny hotel ones. The kitchen had everything you needed and there were even dog bowls, drying towels, covers for the sofas and a treat each. Sadly, due to stormy weather, we didn't get to enjoy the jacuzzi and BBQ, but they looked great if you get the weather. For a family of four adults, a toddler, a baby and two dogs, there was plenty of space for everyone and still two spare rooms. We absolutely loved it, and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Lovely property to stay at. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing . The hot tub was a great bonus with everyone even in the cooler weather it was well used. The spacious kitchen was great and the family came together to enjoy some lovely meals at the huge table. The only criticism was the kitchen was missing some essential items such as scissors serving bowls serving spoons and a few other small items but it didnt affect our stay and we just compromised. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds comfy with fresh bedding. The garden was just right the dogs had such a good time running around. The location of the house was perfect and not too far away from most attractions. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rhos Helyg to anyone wanting a lovely base to stay while exploring the beautiful island of Anglesea .

All our family enjoyed our Easter weekend at Rhos Helyg, the welcome pack of fizz, cake and treat for our dog was really lovely. All the facilities were amazing, the children were well catered for and the safe outside garden for the dog was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Such a wonderful family cottage. It's like our dream house, honestly! There were only 7 of us, but believe me there'll be plenty of room for 10. 5 bedrooms with spacious living area and big garden. Hot tub was so relaxing and view from the roomgarden was stunning. It's only 10 minutes drive to town centre and not too far from a few beaches around Anglesey. We had a wonderful stay, the house was beautiful and equipped to the highest standard, we wanted for nothing except it would have been useful to have a washing up brush for the frying pan etc and not just a sponge I am being picky as you really had thought of everything else!

Unfortunately while we were there we had Storm Darragh. The first night was lovely. We managed to get a takeaway delivered even though the wind was howling outside. Saturday morning was even worse outside but we settled down to watch Christmas films but after lunch the electricity went off and remained off for the rest of our stay. We did have the log burner which kept the living room warm but not the rest of the house. Communication with Michelle was good and Michelle came round on Sunday morning and gave us more logs. However with two young children we decided to leave after lunch cutting short our stay considerably as we had intended to stay Sunday night as well. Obviously with the weather so bad there was no chance of using the hot tub. With the weather warnings I think there should of been essential things like candles but all we found were a few tea lights. The house is lovely and this was not the fault of the owners . Since coming home we have had no communication with the owners which I feel disappointed with. We would definitely stay at Rhos Helyg again .

We have just spent a wonderful sunny week in Anglesey at this lovely property. Our dogs loved the garden and we loved the hot tub! Had an exciting evening when the power went off. Michelle was there straight away with extra wood for the fire and torches for the dark. Scottish power were there to fix the fault within a few hours. We loved our weekend at Rhos Helyg. Stayed with family for my partner's 30th birthday and it was the perfect house to relax and celebrate. The outdoor space and views are truly stunning, all topped off by being able to enjoy it from the hot tub. Beds comfortable. Good location on the island. Kitchen full of all necessary equipment. Only slight negative didn't effect our trip at all but just worth a mention is on the listing it says ground floor shower room and first floor bathroom with shower & bath but both showers were actually on the ground floor. The first floor with 2 kingsize beds & twin rooms has a toilet & basin room but no shower. Otherwise pretty perfect stay and would love to come back on another family trip

We had a great week at the house. It was clean and spacious and had everything you needed. The views were stunning but still only a few minutes away from amenities. The information provided before we arrived was extremely useful, especially directions to the property. The owners were very helpful and the gift of cake, prosecco and milk and a treat for the dog was a nice touch. Would definitely visit again.

We had an excellent time at the property, any concerns were flagged directly to the owners who responded within hours and were always polite and helpful. The links to the guest book provided information for us prior to arrival which need review as they reference COVID still and some of the documented things weren't available, which didn't impact on our stay as the weather was glorious and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Ensure that you follow the owners directions on the website else you will end up lost! Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely week at Rhos helyg, the house was very clean , spacious and comfortable . our dogs loved running around in the garden which was very secure. We only managed to use the hot tub a few times due to the weather but it was kept clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend a stay here .

There was not an EV charger a twin 13 amp external plug is not a charger system! Few cars have 13amp plugs and we had two EVs neither having that system. Consequently we had to rely on a vary sparse and unreliable ev charging system on the island. This caused stress and time wasting. We may look to book with you next year but I will require confirmation of the make of charger, whether it is tethered has type 2cable or untethered no cable and a photograph. I will not wait for the owner handbook which is misleading. We booked a different property last year and were told there was an EV charger but that didnt work until halfway through the holiday as the owner had to contact the supplier!! It really isnt good enough in these poorly serviced areas no problem in mainland England and even Wales is acceptable.

Very clean and comfortable property. Had all the facilities you could wish for. The area was beautiful, and very peaceful. Nice touch having a cake and a bottle of fizz waiting for us, and our dog appreciated his treat that was left for him. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would consider returning without hesitation.

Oven was hot and quick to cook, dishwasher useful and loved the living room doors onto the stunning views. 5 mins drive to local pub, not really one in walking distance, 15 mins to lovely beaches. We have just returned from Wales and had a wonderful stay. From start to finish we cannot fault this accommodation spotlessly clean, warm and super comfy. We are 2 families of 4 with 2 dogs and there was so much space for us all. Bedrooms all roomy and super comfy beds. Nice big garden which the dogs loved. Communication from the owners has been fantastic and we loved the accommodation guidebook jam packed with all the info we needed. Owners have thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and like other reviews the fizz, cake and milk was a nice welcome. Only downside for us was the hot tub not being available most of our stay. Kids were looking forward to a dip as was the adults after a day out.
