Swyn Llyr, Rhosneigr

We are a family of 6, parents and 4 'children' ! Aged 1823 plus 2 partners. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have been holidaying in Anglesey for over 20 years and this house, it's location and all it's features and comforts is the best we've been in. Fantastic level of detail with everything thought of. Lovely hamper with fizz on arrival was very welcome. Owner was really helpful and friendly, fixing a problem immediately of our making.. we'd child unplugged one of the wifi hubs to charge a phone....

A lovely house that was close to the beach. The house was excellent to everyone, including 2 dogs. Any issues we had were sorted very quickly. A great two weeks with the family.

Excellent property, great location. Some great restaurants within walking distance. Nice big garden and fab hot tub! All in all would highly recommend.

This house is beautiful and amazing. Immaculately clean, very cosy and inviting. Next to the beach with brilliant views. We had a group of 13, aged 4 to 82 years, and everyone said our best week away ever.

Fabulous luxury accommodation! We have been visiting Anglesey for 35 years and stayed in a number of high end houses. Swyn Llyr is up there with very best. Beautifully designed and kitted with all family holiday interests in mind for every season. Excellent quality furnishings and appliances throughout and in a fantastic convenient location with breathtaking views. Russell our host was very proactive and helpful in his communication with us which was in line with the top level service and experience this house provides. Photos do not do this house justice. We are keen to return if we can find some availability!

We had the best time at Swyn Llyr as a group of family and friends to kick off the festive season. The home itself has the ultimate wow factor the second you step inside, especially at this time of year with the beautiful Christmas decorations and trees. The welcome hamper was beautiful and the kitchen provided everything we needed in terms of cooking, and enjoying a few drinks, plenty of room for one too many bottles of wine if you include the fridge freezer in the games room! The bedrooms are beautiful and cosy and we all had the best nights sleep in comfortable beds with luxurious bedding. The showers were nice and hot and each room was beautifully decorated, the views from the master bedroom.. wow. We enjoyed cosy evenings round the fire in front of the TV and the children loved the cinema and pinball room. Plenty of room for parking too and nicely located within walking distance of the village. Finally Russell kept us well updated and answered all of my many questions very promptly, despite so many of them! Thanks Russell. We had the best time and wouldnt hesitate to return. Make sure to check the mirrored wardrobe in the bedroom, we found it had an en suite bathroom but only upon check out and so didnt make use of it all weekend!!!

Great place was ideal for 6 adults 6 kids right next to the beach nice pub restaurant pizza parlour and fish and chip shop plus a local convenience store couple of minute walk away , the house has literally everything you would need , big but still feel commutable and homely . would highly recommend . thanks for having us we had a lovely new year spent there.

Absolutely beautiful property in the heart of my favourite place Rhosneigr. Perfect location with the most perfect view of the sea. The house itself was the best we have ever been in, beautiful decor and so much space for our family gathering for my birthday. You seem to have thought of every need for a varied age range of people. Comfy seating areas, play space for teenagers and adults. Everything was catered for in the kitchen and dining space, absolutely everything that we needed and more. Hairdryers in every room too ! We just kept thinking we didnt make use of the outdoor seating because it was a bit chilly but would be amazing in the summer. The hot tub topped off it being the perfect property. I cannot fault this house the owners have thought of everything!!! It made my 50th Birthday celebrations perfect in every way. Thank you Lisa Gaffey x

Property is actually better in real life. The photographs don't do it justice. Very clean, bedding was great quality. Only very minor negative would be the hot tub needs to be a little hotter. Great location. Didn't use the car at all on our stay.

Excellent clean property as described. Even has a family of 10 there was ample space for us all to relax. Beautiful views and lovely decor. Owner was very quick in responding to any questions we had. Cant fault this place and hope to return soon.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The house itself was stunning so spacious but cosy. The beach views are amazing and has shops close by. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect spot for an extended family holiday. Everyone loved the house everything it had to offer and its proximity to the beach. We had a couple of times when we had to contact someone, I forgot to order a cot and one of the TVs blew the fuses in the kitchen, but we were impressed and delighted with how quickly and efficiently these were addressed. Many thanks. We thoroughly enjoyed our family get together at Swyn Llyr and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Lovely large house, Just as it looked on the photos. Great sense of interior design The welcome pack is a lovely thought and much appreciated So much room that even with 12 of us occupying the property we had so much spare space. The Pinball machines and Air Hockey where a great hit with the children Hot tub was a hit with everyone, so relaxing at end of the day especially after conquering Snowdon from 8 year old upto 70 year old Shame we had to come home, would love to return maybe sometime

Everything met or exceeded expectations design and standard of accommodation quality fixtures and fittings position with superb views from rooms and balcony location, not only for local beach but other parts of the island. Russell was a very accommodating and attentive landlord. There was a rare consensus amongst our family for returning to this property. Happy to recommend without reservation.

The property is spectacular with beautiful furnishings, artworks and finishing touches. Our party comprised of an age range from 16 years to 87 years and everyone enjoyed the comprehensive facilities. The games room, jacuzzi and cinema room were well used. The EV charger was a great plus and we used it to charge 2 EV's. The location was great as the town centre and beach were within easy walking distance and also, the house has great sunset views.

Excellent upsidedown home. Recommend this property for family stays, Hot tub, balcony with large table and comfortable seating all with wonderful views of the setting sun. Kitchen has everything you will need, large air fryer was a big help.

Fabulous retreat in stunning Rhosneiger where we already have a permanent caravan but needed a house large enough to cater for 5 grown children and their partners for my husbands 60th beautiful house, plenty of space and light, thoughtfully presented for A large group of people, large tables, couches, comfy beds, would 100 recommend

We had an incredible time at Swyn Llyr. The pictures on the website don't do it justice the views are stunning. We all slept so well as the beds were so comfortable and there was plenty to entertain everyone. Any queries we had were dealt with instantly by Russell, even over the bank holiday weekend. This is a beautiful property and I would highly recommend a stay here.

Great location close to the beach and shopscafes etc with lovely views house is well laid out and had everything we were looking for. Some lovely treats to welcome us to the house and the EV charger was a really useful addition for some members of our group. Overall we had a fabulous time and everyone in our party wants to go again.

A beautiful property, extremely comfortable and wellequiped. Decorated and fitted to a very high standard. Loction is perfect with access near the beach and very close to the village. Enjoyed the wonderful sunsets from the balcony leading from the lounge, where you can relax and dine in this amaxing suntrap. Games room and Cinema Room big plus for the children and adults too. Plenty of parking and good sized garden area.

Beautiful accomodation,with stunning seaviews,great for a big family get together,the bedrooms and linen were top notch ,lots of space for clothing ,the hot tub was great,even my 89 year old mum got in and loved it. The equipment in the kitchen was of an excellent standard,and we had a lovely welcome pack to greet us ,very much appreciated,also the owners provided us with a baby gate .Great communication from the owners ,also a fabulous furnished balcony for alfresco dining .would definitely recommend this accomodation.

We loved our time at Swyn Lyr. The house is beautiful with wonderful sea views and lots to keep families entertained. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated and Russell the owner was extremely helpful and responsive, even posting an item of clothing back that we had accidentally behind free of charge. We hope to be back very soon.

This was our first time staying in Rhosneigr and were so very pleased to have chosen to stay at Swyn Llyr! A spacious, but warm and cosy house with all you could wish for. Nicely decorated with some stunning artwork. Loved the large space. Plenty of room and definitely suitable for up to 12 guests. Even then, wouldnt feel crowded. Wellequipped kitchen with everything we needed for preparing meals for a large group. Very comfortable beds and sumptuous bedding made for a relaxing sleep each night after all that fresh air. The views over the beach are great and perfect for watching the sunset and the surfers on the sea! Cross the road and you are onto the Isle of Anglesey Coastal path which is very well waymarked and excellent for walking our dogs. We found lots of other good places to walk, including forest walks which the dogs really enjoyed. The information pack lists a few, but there are plenty more around. We found the info pack very handy as it also had suggestions for other activities and places to visit and eat. We had lunch a couple of times at the Surf Caf and that was very nice indeed. The local post officeconvenience store has lovely staff and sell locally produced bread. Delicious! The house has a hot tub, but we didnt try this, preferring to curl up on the sofas after dinner and watch television or just chat. Whilst the house is warm, with adjustable thermostats in each room or area, it was so nice to light the log burner and stare at the flames! Very relaxing. We were lucky with the weather during our stay, only raining once but nobody ever got bored as there are a plethora of TVs, as well as a cinema room and we had lots of fun in the games rooms playing air hockey and pinball. Highly recommend and we most certainly will return.

My family has stayed at lots of properties over the years and Swyn Llyr is up there with the best. Simply fab from arrival to departure. Fabulous dcor and well equipped with all the necessaries, plus more. The games rooms were a game changer! We had great fun on the pinball tables and the family air hockey tournament got very competitive! The beach is a five minute walk and the dogs loved it and the doggy shower room. The garden is secure and the hot tub was bliss. Being out of season, some of the shops were closed and the fish and chip shop but the local convenience store was a 5 minute walk. We ate out at The Oyster Catcher. Recommend. We were blessed with the weather during our stay, especially for February which gave us magical sunsets. Would we return? Already booked!
