We have just come home from a lovely week away at Tyn Rallt Ice Cream Barn where we were warmly welcomed by Helen. On arrival make sure you follow the sat nav when it directs you off the road and down a footpath as this is the long driveway to the property! Stunning views and scenery all around the property and Angelsey. We loved it. The property is spacious and comfortable and suited all our needs with plenty of space to eat, socialise and relax. The beds are really comfy. Hot tub is a short walk from the main house but warm and inviting so we enjoyed using this too. Helen was always on hand for any needs we had and we all loved seeing the horses and feeding them each day and being welcomed by the dogs too. Thanks again Helen we would love to return to one day with different family members to show them Angelsey.

Having booked a pet free property it was disappointing to find the owners dogs running around outside and using the garden. On arrival the property had nor been cleaned properly. The kitchen bin was overflowing and the owner had to clean the fridge.

Thank you so much Helen for a wonderful stay at gorgeous Tyn Rallt! ! Helen was fabulous with all our family from grown up children to elderly parents. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in such a glorious setting, waking up to spectacular views and loved being met by and feeding her lovely horses when we arrived back later in the day. It was great to be left and sample the ice cream, which was delicious in every flavour. A beautiful farm house, lovely host and a fantastic place to stay and enjoy amazing Anglesey. What a lovely place! Host Helen was super friendly and helpful. Loads of space inside and out for extended family holiday, splendid views and easy access to the coast with fabulous beaches. We loved to watch the horses in the paddock, the bunnies and swallows around the farm and red kites overhead. Just a fabulous time.

Owner is a lovely lady and made us very welcome. It is set in a lovely location with stunning views of Snowdonia. BUT, although the house was very nice the hot tub promised on the website did not exist and this was one of the main reasons for booking it, there was no outside barbecue and the garden was not fenced off our grandchildren love dogs and were only too happy to play with them but others may not be. The garden photo of the hot tub on the website didn't remotely look like the actual mature garden either. Not the first time this has been mentioned, as I discovered upon our return when researching further review sites.

Great farm house. Very homely and everything you would need on a staycation. Close to pub, fish n chips and beautiful beaches. Views from property are stunning. Horses and dogs lovely surprise, especially the Daughters. Lovely ice cream given to us from the farm. Helen is keen for you to have a great stay , offering info about local events and places to visit.

We had an amazing stay over the Easter weekend. The house was spacious, well furnished and very comfortable for 8 adults. Location was fantastic and allowed easy access to everywhere on the island. The owner Helen was so lovely, always responded very quickly to requests and gave us ice cream from her farm which was delicious! We also loved the friendly horses that came over for pats every time we went outside. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is a lovely house, but it could use a little maintenance. The appliances are tired. The dishwasher didn't work and the sink wasn't set up for washing up, which was a bit of a pain but not the end of the world. Whilst we were there we had two days without hot water, which was more of a problem with kids to bathe and lots of washing up to do. The hot tub is not in the garden, as the listing led us to believe, and the bedroom setup is also different from the listing on the sykes website. The beds were very comfortable and the views lovely, with ample space for a large group to relax. There are loose dogs and no enclosed garden, so not a property to go to with small children or anyone scared of dogs. We had a fantastic holiday because the area is beautiful, whatever the weather, and the house was well sited to explore Anglesey. Also, the icecream was delicious.

Helen was absolutely lovely, always nearby when we needed advice regarding places to eat and see. Her ice cream was delicious. It is a lovely retreat to recharge your batteries. We drove to Newborugh beach, don't think we could have walked it, but we'll worth the trip, stunning beach but does get busy We would come again

We were made so welcome by our Host, Helen. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt part of her family. The house is huge and there is a beautiful garden with amazing views of the sunset. Having a hot tub was one of our musts, but please note that the hot tub isn't in the garden of the house, so isn't totally private, but we had sole use of it. My boys loved having the horses and dogs to feedpet and of course, the best bit was the most amazing ice cream. Blueberry Cheesecake was our favourite! We will definitely come back here in the future.

Totally wonderful week, stunningly beautiful area, great easy relaxing house wonderful host. Also hot tub, amazing sunsets through all west facing windows, very comfortable.

We arrived later than expected to the house due to an accident on the roads on the way. Helen and her wonderful dogs all 5 of them! greeted us and showed us around her home. There was so much space for the three of us 2 adults and 1 child The house is clean, cozy and inviting and the garden with the swing is great for little ones. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing in whatever the weather! I think our 7 year old enjoyed it more than us! The house is the perfect base for exploring with beaches within a 1020 minute drive away as well as plenty of walking routes. Helen is a fountain of knowledge of places to go for days out, things to do and where to eat and always on hand if you need anything. The added touch of pots of her amazing ice cream in the freezer on arrival was lovely my favourite was definitely the raspberry and lemonade sorbet!! The horses welcome you whenever you set foot out the door or come back from a day exploring, something I loved being an animal person. A perfect relaxing family break before the start of the school year. We would most certainly come back!! Thank you again Helen for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

We loved the cottage and had a fantastic week. The location is perfect quiet and off the beaten track but still close to the beaches local villages. Perfect for cycling and walking in the nearby footpaths and lanes. The view across the quiet and private garden fields beyond is lovely and on the other side from the top of the track there are the mountains and the forest. We had a very warm welcome and everything we needed in the cottage. There is plenty of room as advertised, it's nicely decorated and clean with a great kitchen. There is even a piano which we loved and two very large TVs. We really hope to come again. We would definitely recommend.

The house is in a stunning location on the beautiful island of Anglesey with a friendly and helpful owner next door. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us within the property and ample parking for our 4 vehicles. The generous welcome pack also included tubs of the owners own ice cream and a sample of their own coffee. The owner has a number of well trained friendly dogs which wander freely around the outside of the property. We enjoyed our visit and the hot tub. We had a wonderful stay at Tyn Rallt. The farmhouse was much bigger than it looks on the photos with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We loved the artistic touches and fabulous decor. Very creative. From every window, there was a view of the Snowdonian mountains or beautiful countryside. Helen, the host, welcomed us with a warm smile and a generous quantity of icecream made at her farm. Extremely delicious! She was very kind and helpful and responded quickly to any queries. Our grandchildren loved the garden and spent many happy hours on the swings. Jess, the farm dog, was a huge favourite. Its the kind of place that makes you feel immediately at home and calls you back to stay again and again!

Helen has a beautiful home and was the perfect host sharing local knowledge and places to visit, she lives next door, and was instrumental in seeing we had a wonderful time! This was a family holiday with 8 of us. Upon arrival at the property the house stood out as stunning with plenty of parking. The house has a huge garden with swings and decking. Kids loved playing in the garden. Each room was nicely decorated with excellent showers. Kitchen was massive with every appliance you could think of. No need to bring anything from home! There was a hot tub which we used every evening. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner who also lives next door on her other property. We used the property as a base and travelled daily. Its in a perfect location for this but far enough away to feel the silence of the countryside. We would definitely like to come back again in the future. Highly recommend this to everyone

Tyn Rallt is a lovely family home. It is so well appointed with 2 sitting rooms and 4 good sized bedrooms with such comfy beds. Great bathrooms, lovely towels. We had everything we needed and more. Its situated in a beautiful spot with great views all around. We cycled to the beach twice which was stunning, with the clearest sea and unspoilt sand. Great relaxing in the hot tub afterwards . The village even has a super shop with fish and chips. Helen the owner is such a gorgeous person. Really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Her ice cream is absolutely delicious too. Well definitely be back.
