We had a lovely time at Carreg Rhys, the property and its surroundings were so peaceful and relaxing. We found a lovely gem of a beach at Aberffraw which is only about 10 minutes away that was suggested to us by Fiona, they were wonderful hosts, if there was anything we needed then they dealt with it with such efficiency and warmth it was wonderful see. A real home from home gem a quiet rural location with parking, comfy bed, lovely sitting room with views over the gardens and fields, great kitchen with every kitchen implement you could need provided, nice size bathroom with free standing bath and the icing on the cake was the hot tub which we took a dip in every day. Only thing for us was no shower curtain around the bath. We didnt get to meet Fiona & Peter in person but they kept in touch throughout the week. We had a really relaxing week in the cottage and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place away from a busy life. Anglesey is a beautiful place to visit.

We had a very happy, tranquil and relaxed week at Carreg Rhys. It's location is great for exploring the island in all directions! Fiona and Peter are very warm and welcoming hosts and we were encouraged to make use of the various outside areas beyond the cottage's little courtyard garden. We would heartily recommend a holiday here!

Well equipped and nicely furnished place to stay in a lovely tranquil setting. We particularly enjoyed there being a bath something that is becoming increasingly rare in smaller holiday lets.

The cottage was furnished to a very high level and full of welcoming touches, such as fresh flowers, wine, biscuits and a table beautifully laid for dinner. It was also lovely to see such optimism from Fiona about her visitors' care of her home and contents no missing ornaments finding new homes! Definitely a little gem to be remembered. Judging from the comments in thank you cards for Fiona previous guests have experienced her kindness, far beyond the norm, which speaks volumes.

A little hidden gem. Everything we needed for a quiet and comfortable stay. Owners were great and although the property is adjacent to their home, they were no way intrusive at all so we still felt we had our privacy. Lovely grounds and great to see red squirrels in the garden.

Such a beautiful cottage, very well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. I felt so at home here, and Fiona was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. This was our second visit to this cottage we love it here. The owners are so kind and nothing is too much trouble,It's just so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the log burner and the hot tub after i cooked a lovely meal in the well equipped kitchen. the nearby shops have everything you need lots of places to visit, our favourites are Beaumaris, Rhosneigr, plas newydd house. we brought our dog so many places to walk we all had a great week. Next time we will come in the summer and see what Anglesey looks like then.

The property was amazing, clean and tidy. Had everything you needed, just had to take own towels and obviously own food. Fridge freezer was available in property. The owners were amazing and have thought of everything, friendly, willingly to help and interested in ensuring your stay was comfortable. Extremely dog friendly allowing use of the garden for exercise. This is a cosy cottage with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the quilt warm with plenty of pillows and cushions. We found the shower in the rolltop bath good but it was difficult to prevent water from going onto the floor. The loo leaked at the back occasionallly when flushed. This could no doubt be rectified with an adjustment to the pipe from the tank. Overall we would definitely recommend this property.
