As per previous reviews. Broken blinds in bedrooms remain an issue hindering sleep as very bright very early ! Hot tub /patio area - Overlooked by all entering the site and lodge next door. Outside furniture broken and not of a good standard. Lodge is on a busy main road and noise was an issue with road and ongoing Building works on site. . The lodge itself is of a nice standard - a few areas that need fixing - blinds /carpet damage./minimal kitchen supplies. Good location for a Short drive to beach and days out. Would not stay again as just too noisy for us. Came home early.

The lodge has good fixtures and fittings and the site is well maintained and when finished it will be very nice. However, there are a few problems that need to be highlighted, on arrival we noticed there were no ironing board, iron and hairdryer this was rectified the next day thank you. The outside furniture is of a poor standard for a luxury lodge, there is no option to eat outside ie no table. There are only four items of each crockery and cutlery which does cause problems when cooking dinner or if you accidentally broke one, someone would go without, it’s also very poor quality my wife bent a teaspoon when making a cup of tea, none of the wine glasses match it’s like going to your grandmothers ????. But one of the most worrying things is the hot tub, on the first day my wife got into it and noticed a tide mark around the top and realised how dirty it was need to say we didn’t use it again, it was not checked in the 7 days we were there not once. I also noticed that the hot tub next door to us on change over day did not get a water change. This lodge is very close to the main road and the site entrance and offers no privacy at all, a few small bushes would make a massive difference. The blind in the bedroom is still not fixed from previous reviews. Overall this lodge needs a little TLC and around £300 to £400 spending on it and a change in the hot tub maintenance regime and I am sure it would improve. I would stay at this site again but not in this lodge.
