Our stay at Smithy Cottage was perfect. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. It was ideally situated for a stroll into the village of Cemaes, whilst being peaceful, safe and secure for our three dogs. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the settee. In addition the hot tub was a fantastic way to relax and unwind. We cant wait to return sometime in the near future and explore more of the stunningly beautiful area around Cemaes Bay. The owner David was very friendly and helpful, wed definitely like to return to Smithy Cottage for a opportunity to recharge the batteries once again.

Lovely accommodation. Exactly as described. Close to beach and shops. Amazing hot tub. Owner is close by to help with anything you need. We couldnt get the tv channels and owner came within 10 minutes and showed us how to work the remote control. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay, the property has everything required for 2 people. The location of the property means that the harbour is a manageable walk even if you have mobility issues which I have. The outside area was very handy especially for our dog & even though the weather wasnt great we managed to get in the hot tub which was lovely. We love Anglesey so will be back.

A perfect cottage for our break in Wales. Ideally situated within walking distance of the beach and shops and all amenities. Will certainly be coming back to this cottage. The listings give it as located behind two gates by a laybye when infact the gates have been removed and a fence and small gate put in its place. Look for the horses head gateposts, not the two gates. Very friendly owner who has a number of properties in the area. well decorated and clean.

Location spot on 1010 Parking 1010 Property 810 Facilities 810 Cleanliness 910 external let it down Property is as described although smaller than expected, for me the kitchen has too many appliances , 1 kettle 2 coffee machines 4 slice toaster TCS barrels they take up all of the worktop space if you were on a SC break, less is more. The kitchen is fine but in need of a little maintenance some of the draw fronts are loose you have to be careful opening and closing them the washing machine front was already off, easy fix, plenty utensils pans trays etc , couch and bed are very comfy better sleep than at home

Had small issue with neighbours dogs barking which David the owner quickly resolved. Cottage is nice size for 2 people and pets. All patio is enclosed for privacy and security for your dogs with an extra bolt on inside of gate. The hot tub is to die for. Loved it and booked again for next year. Great communication with David the owner.

What a lovely place, small yes, but suited our every need wonderful. DJ & Lee were brilliant any problem, however small they sorted, not that there was many. Cemaes Bay as well is a brilliant base for any travels, it's also a nice place to walk around and enjoy the area. The harbour pub gave us a cracking meal and great drinks and vey friendly service. A very enjoyable holiday from start to finish.

It was nice to be able to take our 2 dogs. The kitchen was fine but it could do with a new kettle. Living and sleeping are small but fine. Bathroom also fine too. Unfortunately you can hear everything your neighbours do in the bathroom quite clearly and the bedroom above noises can be interesting to say the least but I guess there's not much that can be done about that as they are on their holiday's too.... soundproofing the walls and ceiling is all I could come up with.

A lovely little cottage just a stones throw from the beach and harbour. Although Smithy is quite small, it ticks all the boxes for a really cosy, comfortable weeks stay. It's well equipped too. We were made to feel very welcome.

Accommodation smaller than we expected however it was very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Ideally placed at the top of the village with shops chippy and a lovely pub Stag all within walking distance as are the various walks around the coast and a 15min walk to the Bay view restaurant which is excellent. We would highly recommend this for couples looking for a short break in the beautiful area of North Wales.

We had a wonderful week at Smithy Cottage in beautiful Cemaes. The cottage was comfortable, warm, well equipped & made even more special by the relaxing hot tub which we made full use of. A special thank you for welcoming our 3 dogs who also greatly enjoyed their stay.

The accommodation was perfect for us, plenty big enough for 2 plus our dog. Great to have a hot tub which was well used during our stay. The owners were great, so friendly and helpful. Would definately reccomend this property.

We enjoyed a very peaceful and relaxing few days at Smithy Cottage. The owner was always at hand if needed and lived close by in case of any emergencies if any arose but they didn't. Great facilities and the large bubbling hot tub was very welcome even on the coolest of nights. Will definitely recommend this place for couples who just want an enjoyable and relaxing break away. Great local pub and award winning chippy nearby.

Absolutely gorgeous little cottage spotless and in the most perfect location. So close to everything yet still quiet and relaxing. Had everything you could need inside. This is our 3rd mini dog brake this place tops every other cottage we have stayed in absolutely recommend. Hosts very friendly and helpful I couldnt knock any part of this mini brake everything was perfect

Fantastic studio apartment with great host David, used jacuzzi every day , great location especially for our four legged friends . . around corner from river walk and 10 mins from Cemaes beach and harbour. Super compact and efficient but be weary smaller than it looks on website if travelling with big dogs.

The location is perfect and just a short walk into the village with a great pub the Stag and the lovely beaches. We really enjoyed our stay here, cant fault it on arrival it was very clean and kitchen was very well equipped and to our delight there was a nespresso coffee maker and milk frother as we do enjoy a good coffee. The hot tub was an added bonus, which was well maintained and lovely to relax in even on a cold rainy night. The village was lovely and friendly and easy walk to beaches and pubs and cafes.

Perfect little cottage for a break, a little bit too much stuff for the size however it has everything and more you need. Only thing I would say on a slight negative review is maybe the hottub could do with a awing so it can be used come rain or shine. Apart from that very clean, perfect location, beautiful yard for dogs. David the owner is awesome and will to help with anything you need. The stags pub is very friendly and allow dogs, The harbour do a good Sunday lunch and also allow dogs and the bell cafe has some beautiful coffee and cake. Smithy Cottage was completely perfect in so many ways. 1. It's dog friendly. 2. It was a good suze for two people. 3. It was lovely and warm and cosy. 4. The bed was very comfortable with a gorgeous duvet. 5. The cottage was in a very good and clean condition. 6. The cottage was so well equipped with heaters, a fan, a hairdryer, a large fridge freezer and a washing machine as well as many other useful items. 7. A lovely hot tub in a fully enclosed private courtyard. It was so very lovely to receive a birthday card and a bottle of Prosecco, a special touch.

This is a reallly nice cottage right on the high street. The property was very clean and had everything you need for a great break. We used it as a base and went out during the day and then back to the hot tub in the evening. I would definately recommend it

Your holiday accommodation met our needs very well. One suggestion Curtains to pull across enabling the kitchenlounge to become separate during the night. Obviously no issue if just a couple staying tho a separator curtain would give the bedroom more of a private bedroom feel. Thought more applicable for clients staying with dogs like us. Our

We had a great time at Smithy Cottage, hot tub a bonus with very safe patio area for our two dogs. Beautiful beach, Riverside and costal walks right on the door step with shops ,pub two minutes away. Cottage had everything you needed.

We spent together a week at the cottage exploring Angelsey and it's lovely beaches, which would be amazing on a nice sunny day but we can't have everything. The studio was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We cooked most evenings was really pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the studio was. The kitchen and bathroom are beginning to look a little tired, however don't let that put you off. The hot tub was fabulous, a lovely treat at the end of the day. A nice touch was the owner contacting us on arrival to ensure everything was fine and being on hand if we needed anything.

This property is very small! However it is well equipped with everything you might need and the owner has been creative with the space available. It is very clean and modern. The bed and sofa are very comfortable and although there were storms raging outdoors we were always warm and cosy. The hot tub is great for relaxing in. Although storm Eunice didnt stop us getting in it every day, a permanent gazebo fixture around it would truly make it an all weather accessory. The property has a fantastic location with only a few minutes walk to the beach, river walk and coastal paths. The owner was friendly and helpful and available on the phone for any queries. We spent 4 very happy nights here with our dog.

Had a nice break just a couple of bits to be aware of. You can hear EVERY bit of noise from the adjoining accommodation, hot tub is on the main road it is private but you do get a lot of road noise, no hot water for the last night and check out morning which ended our break on a slightly bad note. Other than that the accommodation was clean and has everything you need for a break away.
