The Sandy Bee, Benllech

Problems of plugs being stuck with water left in the sink and a badley flushing toilet downstairs were sorted out eventually after struggling to empty for 4 days after contacting the owner . I informed the owner that our son and wife were coming on the Wednesday my husbands birthday . So for about 4 hours there were 8 people in the property and extra car then when my 2 granddaughters left as they had to work .there was only 3 vehicles . I made the owner aware that it was my husbands 80 th birthday I even asked if I could bake some cakes whilst there because family would be popping in on his birthday my husband didnt know his son and wife were surprising him by popping in as due to an unexpected operation the Monday of that week my husband was unable to go very far . If he hadnt had the total knee replacement mobilizing on crutches and taking morphine for the pain we would have been going out for a birthday meal . I do think they should have told me if this wasnt allowed as I did tell her about this At no time were there more than 6 people sleeping at the property . No PARTY as such took place just a few sandwiches and cakes as I did feed them on the Wednesday lunch and tea . At no time was any music played at all in fact we were very quiet . For the amount we paid for a weeks rental and the inconvenience of the downstairs toilet not flushing and sinks not emptying being stuck with water left in after washing as we couldnt pull the plug out . all 3 sinks had to have the waste plugs removed and replaced , also the plumbers used most of our supply of toilet rolls to soak up the water and we had to buy more the owner told the plumber at first NOT to change the waste plugs until we told the owner again, that it wasnt acceptable to have to use another sink with the same problem . It was a lovely property which now after all this has taken the shine off it and spoilt a surprise 80 th birthday for my husband . Do they think we would be having a rave up , getting drunk etc when in our 80 th years .

Wow! Exceeded expectations. Sandy Bee is a great house in a great location. 3 minutes walk to all the amenities including food shops, takeaways, cafes and a nice pub that we took full advantage off. The beach was a short 10 minute stroll away and was brilliant on the dog friendly side for our cocker spaniel. Sandy Bee was so well equipped and comfortable, from the decor, comfy beds to all the extras like blankets and hot water bottles to use outside if the evenings were chilly so you could sit and admire the outstanding views across the bay and Snowdon mountain range. The hot tub was also a welcome bonus, everything to make a memorable holiday with the family. Thanks Sandy Bee!!

We had a great time in this lovely house. Fabulous views comfortable beds and everything you need. Easy access to shops pubs and restaurants. And a short walk to lovely sandy beach.

Great place to stay and could not fault it

Thanks for a lovely stay on Anglesey. The location is great. Modern three story townhouse on end of about 6 adjoining properties. Dog safe secure back yard with astroturf green which was great. The quality of everything from furniture, linen, crockery, cleaning facilities, white goods, induction hob etc was excellent. It was lovely that all sinks had hand wash and that washing up liquid, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets etc were all provided. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. We would have preferred if it was a bit hotter as max setting was 38C but often around 3737.5 due to use. We tried changing setting to 40 which the brand allows for but ? Because connected to a heat pump couldnt get it hotter might be our lack of ability! We would definitely recommend this as an excellent property for families. It was very comfortable and well maintained. The neighbours were lovely and really friendly thanks Dave and family opposite the location allows an easy walk to lots of facilities including coop tescos express, pub, restaurants, pet supplies, excellent butcher. The information on local beaches and contents of the things to do folder was really helpful. The dog friendly Lligwy beach was fantastic for our energetic, slightly crazy cocker spaniel especially when the tide was out in the mid afternoon and 10 Mins away. Thanks once again Barbara and Andy for a lovely holiday and for your thoughtfulness in trying to provide as much as possible for your guests, it was much appreciated. If you are browsing as I was, it deserves the outstanding feedback and 5 star rating and is a safe bet for a lovely holiday. We would gladly return! Every Blessing

Beautiful property in a fantastic location.

This is without doubt one of the nicest, cleanest and well equipped holiday houses we've stayed in, and we've stayed in many. Barbara and Andy have thought about everything to make your holiday as comfortable and relaxing as possible with a touch of sparkle and that's not just the fizz awaiting us on arrival, nicely chilled and a welcome addition to the start of what has been a truly lovely holiday. I'm pretty sure we'll be back for some more of Benllechs pure beauty, delicious food in the many restaurants spread in and around the area and beaches to die for! Beautiful house, comfortable space for six people over 3 floors. The views from the lounge and top floor bedroom are spectacular. The photos so not do them justice. Hot tub is a great addition and well maintained. We did not want to leave. Would happily recommend.

A week away in a beautiful house bringing in a new year,stunning views,lovely ... A week away in a beautiful house bringing in a new year,stunning views,lovely beach and shops just a walk away,everything was well presented and very modern,hot tub was lovely and relaxing,this property ticked all the boxes and added bonus keeps you very fit as over 3 floors but thats where you see the wonder views of the sea and beach

Wonderful place to stay the house has has all mod cons is wonderful and spacious and has views to die for thoroughly enjoyed our stay. hot tub id great, sadly the bubbles did not work for first 3 days but was soon repaired.

Sandy Bee is one of the best Hoiliday houses we have ever stayed in. Its all the little touches that made the difference. The views are amazing and local area is fantastic. The hosts also gave us such useful information in the local area so we could enjoy it. Thanks both for a great stay

A really excellent property with great hosts.

Second visit and didnt disappoint, very well appointed holiday home in a perfect location. Great facilities, hot tub is always spot on, safe and secure for the dog. Have rebooked for 2023.

Your house is equipped with everything you could need and some. .. my only little gripe is that I prefer feather duvets, a softer bed and the pillows were dreadful! But I like the location and the house so much that I would bring my own pillows next time!!! The views are such a breath of fresh air for us midlands folk and your information book is amazing. Other people could definitely take a leaf out of your book! Thank you

Absolutely stunning house with everything to make your holiday a lovely relaxing experience

A lovely place to stay and very convenient being so close to local amenities. The only slight criticism is that all of the bins outside waste and recycling were full when we arrived, which I guess is as a result of the local authority collection days. Also, no bin liners were left in the 3 bins in the kitchen so we bought some to put in them as we did not want to mess them up and have to clean them out.

Everything, the property is amazing and the location is Incredible one of the nicest places we've stopped in we had a fantastic time we honestly couldn't fault anything. ..

Great decor, took a while to get used to the high tech cooking equipment, but would highly recommend
