Trearddur View, Treaddur Bay

I have emailed you on a number of occasions regarding the property. The property itself was good but the facilities not up to standard ie Hot tub and outside. Please see emils I have sent a number of times

Lovely house for family gathering or large party of friends. We were are party of 5 adults, a 2 year old and a 9 week old. Well laid out with space to move about. Property looks tired in places and would benefit from a little tlc. Repairs not done to a good standard. Broken glass in the door to the conservatory repaired by wrapping which makes it safe but glass obviously wasnt cleaned prior to it being put on so looks dirty and tatty. Paint work missing on main handrail which has just been coated with either emulsion or undercoat. A few other areas too not repaired well. We had a good time and enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect for beach and park. Restaurants all very near by which is great. Asked for a cot and highchair prior to arriving. Eventually found the highchair but not a cot which was disappointing so had to move furniture in bedroom to set up a makeshift cot. Found 2 stair gates which would have been great if either were complete. Both had missing parts. Dont be put off by the above comments house is great and worked well for an extended family.

Superb location and the size of the house was great however there were a few issues, the whole house is tired it needs re decoration, the x box is old and out of date, some of the dining chairs require attention they are rickety, the new garden table and chairs are unusable as they have not been sanded so are full of splinters,some of the garden flagstones are uneven and rock when walked on, many of the window handles are loose and not all the windows close fully, the hot tub needs cleaning ! not just emptying and refilling and finally we had an issue with the fridge door which dropped off narrowly missing my grandson's foot this should NOT have happened

We were so pleased with the house, there were 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 very tall teenage boys and there was plenty of space. Different areas where people could go to chill or come together in the very adequate lounge area.Top marks for location as 2 of us are disabled but could manage the 5 minute walk to the beach. It had all the equipment we needed though we did purchase one or 2 things more towels and a bathroom mirror but that was mainly for our own comfort.. The house and outside areas were clean enough given that we are a long way into the season. A neighbour did ask us to mention the overgrown edge at the front of the property to you, but that didnt affect our stay. Thank you for letting you use your lovely home.

The key code we was given didnt work, it had been a long journey and took another 20 mins to get through to booking centre, the owner had changed code but we had not been informed. The hot tub was spoilt by a constant rush of bees, there were loads of bees, we assume a hive in the bushes next to the tub.Not good, especially with a 8yr old.

Generally speaking the property is in a great location. However the house is in need of a good deep clean, and repainting etc in some areas. The lid to the hot tub was broken. Found it annoying that for booking a property for up to 10 people staying we had to go and buy extra toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets as these werent supplied. The little things add up when the cost to stay at Treddure View was 2500 for 4 nights!

Lovely accomodation, ideal location close to all the local amenities. Cleaning wasn't the best dustdirt under the sofas, oven had been sprayed with cleaning product but just left. However, these are minor things that didn't have any affect on our stay.

We were very pleased with the house overall the attic room got a bit warm for the baby in the group and the toaster kept tripping the electrics but nothing we couldnt resolve easily. The location was excellent such a beautiful beach and the amenities within easy reach, maybe the outdoor area needed a bit of attention but we were mainly inside with the children, out for the day and then hot tub in the evening glorious we were sad to leave and would recommend

Disappointed to say the least with the level of cleanliness. Paying 2400 for a 2 night stay would warrant better. By far, the pictures on the website didn't reflect what greeted us! Mouldy breadcrumbs in the breadbin, ants in the living room, tired and warn toys and play equipment i.e. football table held together with tape, mostly broken and unable to play with them. Games had missing or broken pieces. The drinks cooler barely worked and only pumped out warm air. Stains on the carpets and generally dirty floors throughout. Don't get me started on the outside furniture, green with algae and unpleasant to sit on. 2 VERY CHEAP toilet rolls for 10 people isn't going to go very far, no kitchen towels or kitchen roll. Only 2 antibac wipes available and the dishwasher tablets were that old or previously been wet so unable to use as they had all fused together. I've scored a 2 due to the location which is lovely, the beach is amazing. Very quiet and not much for kids to do but if you are wanting a relaxing weekend then Anglesey is the place to go. I have given feedback to Sykes and asked for a call, which I'm yet to receive! If you want to waste your money on a run down, tired and warn seaside cottage then Trearddur View is the place for you.

The property was central,within walking distance to all amenities, car parking for 4 cars with ease. The house itself is in need of a deep clean. some of the bedding was stainedmarked, towels were clean. Lounge area was perfect,comfy sofas, plenty of space. The hot tub was brilliant, slight fault with electrics outside but that was very quickly repaired, within 3hours,which was excellent. Perfect layout in kitchen, dining area and lounge. Very spacious house. Enjoyable stay.

Extremely disappointed when arriving at the house. Very dirty, awful seatssofas to sit on, dirty mattresss, towels clean but all marked, decor disgraceful, chipped crockery. The only positive was the position. We left early as couldnt wait to leave!! Alex

There was an issue with the fridge and the interior doors could do with sorting out as they dont feed so struggle to open n close them. That said, the house overall was superbkitchen well kitted out, facilities very good, a lovely place to be with the family!!!!!! Definitely

Really great stay at Trearddur View. Plenty of room for a large family and location was fantastic about a 3 minute walk to beach and all other amenities. house was fabulous. couple of minor points with loss of water pressure if you used both showers, had the washing machine on or used kitchen taps whilst showering, alot of chipped crockery on arrival. don't let this put you off , location was great facilities fab and really good value for a large party size. would definately go back if ever in the area again.

We were a family of 10. A mixture of 6 adults , 4 small children and a small dog. The property offered us all the necessary amenities and the hot tub was our special request. I did ask if there were 2 high chairs as 2 cots are offered but unfortunately there was only one. This may be something to consider introducing in the future. The house was safe and the garden was enclosed for both the children and dog. We did not bring many toys and it was great to have a selection of toys in the property. You could not ask for a better location. 3 minute walk to the beach, minute walk to the Spar and approximately 30 minutes drive to most parts of the island. There is a restaurant over the road which is in the process of changing hands but there were other cafes and restaurants in walking distance if required. We were unable to find the stair gates on arrival but a simple quick call to the contact provided and this was sorted very quickly. I did see in a previous review a mention of a clothes line of some description which would be very helpful as we were constantly drying towels over towel rails and radiators . As a family with small children we did struggle to tidy and vacate the property by 10am , and this is not a criticism, but an extra 30 minutes on the checkout time would of taken a part of the checking out stress away. I like to strip all the bedding to try and help with the property owners post stay clean up. We would certainly return and stay as a family again. Thank you from the The Smith family.

We had an amazing time at Treaddur View cottage in Treaddur Bay. The cottage was lovely, very clean and the open plan layout was perfect for our family stay with 6 adults, a teenager and a 5 year old. The cottage was also well equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was also a welcome addition. The location is brilliant, a few minutes walk from the beachBay which despite being February and very windy, we enjoyed the walk! There's also a Spar shop, Sea Shanty Cafe amazing food!, fish & chips shop, Oceans Edge restaurant, Inn at the Bay pubHotel, all within walking distance. Holyhead is also only 5 minutes or so drive away if larger supermarkets are needed. Overall our stay was fantastic and would definitely go back and recommend Treaddur View

Ample off road parking for upto 4 vehicles. House was warm. We could only use one shower at a time as low water pressure caused second shower to stop working. Same applied if washing machine ,dishwasher or toilet was flushed. Wrong type of hot water system for holiday let. First floor shower trap was blocked with hair and soap which looked like it had been there for a while. The bath was loose and moved. Door threshold strip from bathroom door was missing, leaving a raw tiled edge where it met the landing carpet. This could be a potential trip hazard and a danger to bare feet. Whilst cooking the electricity in the kitchen tripped on 4 different occasions, easy to reset but needs looking into. Door into conservatory had cracked glass. There was a log burner in the lounge but no fuel provided. The hot tub was a great feature but noone came to check chlorine levels etc. General cleanliness could have been better. Cottage is in a good location with pubs,restaurants, takeaways and a great little beach a few minutes away. Property needs a good clean and the few issues rectified. Generally we enjoyed our stay. Excellent property. Clean and tidy, everything you need. Hot tub clean and very warm. Had a problem with smoke alarm beeping was fixed within 2 hours. Couldnt ask for a nicer property. Very well situated in Trearddur Bay within walking distance from beech, pub and restaurants. Also a local spar for anything you forgot to bring with you.

Had a lovely stay, really enjoyed Trearddur Bay, close to all amenities. Sea shanty is amazing, and also Driftwood in both food is fab! Fish and chips were delicious from the chippy also !

Booked for a family Christmas, it was absolutely fantastic. Everything you needed was there. Fully kitted out kitchen, towels, bedding, games. Clean and tidy, great location, friendly locals. Perfect

5 would definitely recommend! Enjoyed a great week here at Treaddur View, great location, just a short walk to the beach, park, shop and restaurants. There were 7 adults in our party and 3 children and a baby, plenty room for us all. The house had everything we needed, plenty of crockery and a highchair and baby gate were provided. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the children especially loved the football table and reading snug on the top floor! This was our second visit to Treaddur View and we hope to return again next year!

We had a lovely stay at Treaddur View. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need, nice little welcome pack of teabags and Welsh treats too. The layout and furniture in the living area could be improved as it was a bit awkward to watch TV etc as a large group, but that is the only criticism we had. We didn't use the hot tub so can't comment on that but the outside area was clean and pleasant to sit in. Allinall we had a fabulous stay, and would definitely recommend and return to this cottage.

We did love our stay and we were very fortunate with the weather, which prompted us to want to stay longer. Little disappointed that not all jets working on hottub which we informed P&J about and they were already aware, also the main bathroom water pressure was effected when utilities were in use in the kitchen, would recommend some booster pumps to help with this. Agree that property could do with some maintenance, however, none of the above effected our stay. Property is in a great location to access all local amenities and beech. We had a lovely week the first week in June especially as the weather was glorious. The house is in a great location with bars, restaurants and a convenience store very close by. There are many beautiful beaches within walking distance and would highly recommend the Sea Shanty for food. The facilities in the house are really good with added extras like stairgates which we found very useful and a small games room for the children. We were very disappointed however that the jets in the hot tub were not all working which we reported to the managing company. They said they would report this to the owner but no one came out to fix it and basically only one side of the hot tub was working. Also the side hedge was overgrown which made walking round to the front garden a bit awkward. Overall we had a lovely stay in this property.

Great holiday apart from hot tub issues, there was ten of us staying in the house we made sure everyone showered before going in, after the first day we found that the water was not very clear and a tide mark appeared around the edge this gradually got worse over the weekend so we called the maintenance people they sent someone round two days later it wasn't any better so rang them again they said they would have to get a engineer out couldn't say when a week maybe two so no better off,it was poorly maintained filters not working properly so we couldn't get full user of it,

Lovely house ideal for bigger groups and families and a stone's throw. Away from the beach! Facilities were great and comfortable and the outside area and hot tub are fantastic!! 1010 from me! Would definitely look at staying again if I was in need of a property sleeping 10 people!

The location was great & the house was lovely and cosy and had everything there that you needed, the only thing it needs is more cutlery, we didnt have enough knives & forks for 10 people & there was also some broken glass under the table by the hot tub that had been left there, other than that the place was lovely & Id highly recommend it to anyone

Location was perfect for beach walks. All dining room chairs are loose and feel like they are about to break at anytime. There was dried food stains in the dining room from previous guests. Nobody came to top up the chemicals in the hot tub, the tablets that was left in the floater had run out by the Monday, the filter looks like its never ever been cleaned or replaced, so the tub was not filtering how it should be. On our last day we noticed that two of the bed room walls was wet, I assumed rain water was getting in to the cavity some how.

Property was very nice, clean and great location with 1 exception There was no spare bedding for the pull out bed. Luckly a member of our party did not arrive till late and was able to bring some bedding. The mattress on the pull out bed was disgusting, this really need to be looked at and replacing

Just returned from a lovely week away with family, the property was situated near everything and had all the amenities we needed. We recommend if anyones looking for a large property on Anglesey

This is an absolutely fantastic property. It is very spacious and in a perfect location. The beach is a two minute walk away. Trearddur bay is a beautiful bay. There is a local shop and ice cream parlourbarrestaurant in the bay. Then big supermarkets a five minute drive away. The house has everything you need. There were ten of us. The hot tub was amazing it made our holiday. The bedrooms are very spacious too. The house was a little difficult to find. The sat nav takes you to the road its on but its a very long road and the house sign is not very visible. We called the number given to us and got specific directions to find it and it was fine. my sister ordered an online shop to come on the first day of our trip but the driver couldnt find it either, he called once but she missed the call, so he went to his next job and so she had to collect the shopping the next day from Tesco. The lock on the downstairs toilet is broken this was really a problem for us. The only thing that wasnt at the house was any cleaning products, there were ten of us staying a full week so we had to go buy some anti bac spray so that we could wipe down the toilets and sinks each day. Some bleach and spray for the toilets would have been useful. I used the dryer on the first day and unbeknown to me the water tank was full and the filter was completely clogged . It didnt work at all because of this and when my husband had a look to see why it wasnt working he pulled out the water tank and it was completely overflowing with water everywhere! The filter looked like it hadnt been cleaned for a month! Luckily he noticed it as this is a serious fire hazard! This type of dryer needs the filter and the water tank emptying after every cycle. Something to note regarding the beach is that the tide doesnt go out till about 2pm. So on our first day it was glorious weather we headed down to the beach about 10.30am and as there was such little beach with the tide being in we barely got a spot big enough for us to put a towel down together. So if there is a lot of you and its a great day weather wise you need to get down there first thing otherwise theres literally no space at all! The next day we took the sun tent down to the beach at 9 am and set up a spot for us all and were fine but it soon filled up around us very quickly. Once the tide goes out about 2 there was lots of beach. All in all a gorgeous property, and we would stay again. The location is ideal and the house had fab touches like the table football which my boys loved and the x box.

Brilliant house, absolutely bags of space, there were seven adults, two children and two dogs in our party and we didnt feel on top of one another. The house was spotlessly clean hats off to the cleaner for that x bright and airy. We all found the beds to be comfortable and after long days out or on the beach, we slept like logs anyway! Enough space for three cars, as stated, you could probably squeeze in a fourth! Loved the chill out space in the loft and games room downstairs really nice touches. The garden is a real sun trap, but with shade under the lovely hot tub canopy, it has a great little BBQfire pit, many a marshmallow got toasted! The kitchen had tons of equipment, which made cooking for so many that bit easier. The location is fantastic, close to a local convenience shop and literally around the corner from cafes, restaurants and the beautiful beach. The only tiny issue we found was water pressure, when the showers were in use simultaneously it reduced the pressure right down not great with a head full of shampoo but that would absolutely not stop us from rebooking or recommending. A wonderful family holiday place.
