The property was even nicer than in the photos, spacious, light, airy and very well equipped. Location was great, on a working farm in a lovely and quiet area, but close enough to the main road to be able to explore the rest of Anglesey. Elen and John made us feel welcome as did the welcome pack I wish I had got the recipe for the cake! Loads of comfy furniture, the mezzanine is a great spot. Plus plenty of books and games in case of bad weather. Happily recommend this property and hope to return.

The property was great. Having a bathroom with each bedroom was a luxury and the kids loved the hot tub! We would love to return. Great location and easy to get around.

A super property suitable for friends or family. Two relaxing areas would be great with multi generational groups, but was also appreciated so we could look at the view. Hot tub came in very handy for easing aches and pains. Very well thought out property done to a high standard. Two bathrooms have walk in showers. The remaining one is over the bath. Owners very pleasant and on site in case of need. Very well presented and scrupulously clean. A nice surprise was the fresh farm eggs, homemade cake along with butter tea and coffee. Well worth a visit.

We loved staying at Sgubor for the second time over New Year. As a family of 8 4 adults, 4 kids the accommodation is perfect with loads of space and everything you can need for a homely stay. Comfy beds, great kitchen, brilliant log burner and a hot tub we hope to be back again, highly recommend.

We had a lovely week and felt very welcome by the owners. The property is very spacious and was very clean. It was ideal for our two and half year old grandson who loved being able to watch the sheep and see the tractor in action and particularly loved being able to sit in it! The property is an ideal base for a number of lovely beaches and other places to visit, all only a short drive away. Our daughter loved the hot tub and was in every day! The weather was also great!

Lovely stay in the barn conversion. Loved the kitchen and mezzanine balcony. Ideal for reading or children chilling. The summer lounge was great during the day and the evening lounge snug at night. Used the hot tub every night just need to crank it up a few degrees s as its Wales. The barn has so much space which is needed if the weather is not great. Very quiet location and great hosts in Elen and John. Kitchen has most things you need just take some tongs and ice cube tray. The barn is really warm so you will be snug. The location is great for the wonderful Anglesey beaches which the kids loved in low tide for rock pooling. Also a 30 minute trip to Zip World and the Snowdonia Mountains. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Barn and location.

Sgubor is lovely, spacious and comfortable the owners were welcoming and home baked cake on arrival a yummy touch. The property is well placed for exploring Angelsey, there are lots of family days out locally and good restaurants and eateries nearby.

We had a lovely peaceful stay here and the location was perfect. The barn was beautifully appointed with a fabulous kitchen and was immaculately clean! Elen and John were very welcoming and we appreciated the gorgeous cake!! The views and surrounding area are beautiful and we loved the hot tub in the evening! We would definitely love to return if we visit Anglesey in the future. The only thing we would have liked was more than 1 bar stool in the kitchen as we liked to congregate there.

A wonderful barn conversion, beautifully and well appointed and equipped. The owners were lovely, and we were grateful for the delicious cake, eggs, milk and tea that greeted us on arrival. It was spotlessly clean, en suite in each bedroom, and really spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely after a day's walking. The owners had taken the time to point out local attractions, a superb fish and chip shop in Benllech, and local Chinese takeaway, and we loved the area, convenient for most places. Beaumaris, Menai Straits, South Stack all in easy reach. If we come to Anglesey again we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Perfect.

Stunning property in a lovely location. A first class holiday barn very well appointed and maintained and with very thoughtful preparation. We were a family of 5 2 adults and 3 children and found there was plenty to do for the range of ages and exploring the area was most enjoyable.

A superb holiday cottage

The property is lovely and spacious and in a nice quiet location. Whilst it is semidetached you are totally unaware of guests in the other cottage as outside spaces are private. The owners are very welcoming and go out of their way to provide anything you need. The hot tub is a great way to end the day. It is a great base from which to explore the beautiful island of Anglesey. Being 3 couples the 3 ensuites were ideal. Please note there were no hairdryers so suggest taking your own. One of the bedrooms didnt have any drawers and suggest taking some extra hangers for the wardrobe. Other than that would still recommend staying at Sgubor.

We had a lovely week's stay at Sgubor. The owners welcomed us when we arrived and there was some essentials such as milk, butter, eggs and a homemade cake left for us. The cake was very delicious. The house was perfect for us with three kingdouble bedrooms and three bathrooms. All of the bedrooms are massive, the only thing I'd change is having a chest of drawers in the bedroom we stayed in, apart from that it was perfect. The house is very spacious and well equipped. We loved having the hot tub, it was lovely having a glass of wine in the evening in the hot tub. The cottage is in a lovely rural location, we also had several visits from the owner's Labrador who is very friendly. We were able to easily travel to any part of Anglesey without too much driving. We'll definitely be booking this again.

This is the third time we have stayed at this property and will most certainly be returning again. The second and third time we brought other people along with us who loved it just as much as us. it is such a relaxing place, waking up to the sound of sheep bleating after a wonderful night's sleep, lounging in the sun room, curling up by a log fire in the comfy lounge putting together a meal in the beautifully equipped kitchen where you can watch sheep while you wash pots if you choose not to put them in the dishwasher. An absolutely lovely property which has been fitted out to a high specification and with everything you might need for self catering. The downstairs bedroom would be very suitable for a disabled guest with its large bedroom and huge ensuite wet room. Plenty of outside seating in a sheltered area and parking for two or three cars. We would happily return to this property.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sgubor! The Owners where incredibly helpful! We loved the little touches they provided us for example the butter, milk, eggs and cake left in the kitchen. A few visits from the friendly dog where sweet to! Hot tub was sensational and the cleanliness of the house was outstanding! It is in a great location, with short drives to some breathtaking places! A short 10 minute drive from a couple of golf courses that we took advantage of! All in all it was such a lovely and unbelievable stay at Sgubor and we shall definitely stay again!
